Prep Time

1 hour (includes freezing time)


3 Tbsp (45ml) flaxseed oil

3 Tbsp fresh milk (oat or almond milk optional)

1 Tbsp (15ml) honey

100g (125ml) cottage cheese

1 tsp (5ml) ground vanilla


Mix the cottage cheese, flaxseed oil, milk and honey with a hand blender.  Add the vanilla and mix a bit more.  Pour into a container to make the desired shape and place in the freezer for 1 hour.  Very smooth when frozen.


For a chocolate-banana version add:

2 bananas

1 Tbsp of raw cacao powder

For a berry version add fresh berries and juices of your choice
